At A Glance

RIACT is a professional home for clinicians who want to practice independently while still being connected to a larger, supportive community. It brings together three core offerings that meet clinicians where they are in their professional journey:

2. RIACT Training & Resources

(For Clinicians Seeking Advanced Training & Supervision Development)

This branch is designed for clinicians who may not need business guidance but want to deepen their skills as ACT practitioners. It serves as the professional development and innovation arm of RIACT, providing training, structured resources, and pathways into supervision.

  • ACT Practitioner Training: Workshops, structured modules, and experiential practice focused on becoming fluent in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.

  • Resource Library: Access to curated articles, tools, and supportive materials for building knowledge and applying contextual behavioral science.

  • Supervisor Development: A training pathway for those interested in becoming supervisors in Functional Contextualism, Relational Frame Theory, and ACT, with opportunities to practice within the RIACT community.

  • Continuing Education: CE presentations and advanced learning opportunities to strengthen clinical effectiveness.

  • Group Practice Development: Assists clinicians in developing their own group practice, which contributes to and strengthens the overall modular network design of RIACT.
