Your RIACT membership* includes four AI-assisted tools built specifically for contextual behavioral practice.

*Depending on subscription tier

These are not generic AI writing assistants repurposed for therapy. Each tool was designed from the ground up using RIACT's training framework, grounded in Functional Contextualism and Relational Frame Theory, and tested inside active clinical supervision and community use.

They are built to do one thing well: reduce the administrative load so your attention stays where it belongs — on the work itself.

All four tools are available at the Clinical membership tier and above.

FPN Practice Assistant

For clinicians learning to think and document functionally.

The FPN Assistant is the place to start if you are new to ACT, Functional Contextualism, or Relational Frame Theory. Paste in your de-identified session observations, and the tool generates a complete Functional Process Note structured across four sections: Presenting Context, Functional Analysis, Process-Based Intervention, and Trajectory and Tracking.

What makes it different from any other documentation tool is what happens after the note is generated. The FPN Assistant walks you through the FC/RFT rationale behind every clinical decision in the note, and provides targeted supervisory feedback on what is working and where your clinical reasoning could go deeper. It is documentation that teaches.

Your device's built-in voice tool works with the input field, so you can dictate your observations directly rather than typing them out.

FPN Practice Tool
The FPN Assistant is designed for clinicians who are learning to think and document functionally. If you are new to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Functional Contextualism, or Relational Frame Theory, this is your starting point.

Best for: Pre-licensed clinicians, ACT learners, anyone transitioning from symptom-tracking documentation to functional process documentation.

Functional Process Note v.3 (Clinical FPN)

For clinicians who want a complete, theory-grounded note generated in seconds.

Version 3 of the FPN is a faster, cleaner documentation tool for clinicians who are already comfortable thinking functionally and want the note-writing itself to move quickly. Paste in your raw observations, select a severity rating, and receive a structured four-section note written in your clinical language and grounded in functional theory. It is ready to drop directly into your EHR.

The difference between the FPN Assistant and FPN v.3 is one of developmental stage. The Assistant teaches. Version 3 executes. If you are still building your functional analysis skills, start with the Assistant. If you think in FC/RFT terms and want your documentation to keep pace, Version 3 is your tool.

Functional Process Note v.3
Functional Process Note generates structured, theory-consistent session notes in seconds.

Best for: Licensed clinicians with ACT experience who want fast, theoretically consistent documentation without sacrificing clinical depth.

Session Bridge

For clinicians who want clients to leave sessions with something they can hold onto.

Session Bridge takes your completed session note and generates a warm, plain-language one-page summary your client can take home. No clinical jargon. No diagnostic framing. Just a clear summary covering what was explored in session, what the client noticed, one concrete next step, and a closing reminder tied to what matters to them.

Generate it in seconds. Download a clean PDF ready to print or share. Session Bridge is a simple extension of what good ACT practice already does — it keeps the work alive between sessions by giving clients language they can actually use.

Session Bridge
Session Bridge takes your completed session note and turns it into a warm, jargon-free one-page summary your client can take home.

Best for: Any clinician who wants to strengthen the between-session connection and support client engagement with the therapeutic process.

ACT Treatment Planner (Beta)

For clinicians building structured, process-based treatment plans.

The ACT Treatment Planner is the newest addition to the suite and is currently in active beta development. It generates treatment plans organized around ACT processes rather than symptom categories — grounded in the client's functional profile, values, and identified inflexibility patterns rather than diagnostic codes alone.

Because it is in beta, the tool is evolving. Members at the Clinical tier have access now and are part of shaping its development through use and feedback. If you have thoughts on what would make it more useful in your practice, we want to hear them.

ACT Treatment Planner
A Functional Contextual treatment planning tool for individual and couples therapy The ACT Treatment Planner generates a complete Functional Contextual / ACT Treatment Plan directly from your clinical narrative. Paste in a de-identified intake summary, session note, or case description and the tool extracts and organizes everything into a structured, clinically

Best for: Clinicians working in settings that require formal treatment planning and who want those plans to reflect actual ACT-consistent case conceptualization.

A Note on How These Tools Fit Together

These four tools are not a replacement for clinical training — they are an extension of it. The FPN Assistant is designed to sit alongside supervision, not substitute for it. Session Bridge supports the therapeutic relationship; it does not automate it. The Treatment Planner reflects your case conceptualization; it does not produce one without you.

Think of them as tools that handle the structural and administrative work of documentation quickly and consistently, so the cognitive and relational work of therapy gets more of your attention — not less.

All four tools are embedded with RIACT's actual training materials. When the FPN Assistant explains a clinical decision, it is drawing from the same frameworks you are developing through Flex Lab, the Residency, and the Pathways sequence. The tools and the training are designed to work together.

Access

All four tools are available to Clinical members and above. If you are on a Basic membership and want to explore the tools, upgrading takes about two minutes.
